There are no confirmed GTA 6 cheat codes for Xbox Series X or Series S yet. Grand Theft Auto 6 launches November 19, 2026, and the codes below are Grand Theft Auto V's Xbox codes, which have historically carried forward between GTA titles.
Every cheat code below is written for the Xbox Wireless Controller, with the exact button sequence you enter in-game. The codes are identical on Series X and Series S.

How to enter
cheat codes on Xbox
Xbox cheats in Grand Theft Auto have always been button sequences entered during normal gameplay, not through a menu. Enter the sequence quickly and correctly and the game confirms it on screen.
What has historically mattered:

Enter it fast. Hesitate between inputs and the sequence resets.

Use the D-pad for directions, not the left stick.

Cheats don't persist through a reload. Enter them again after loading a save.
Xbox and PlayStation codes
are the same sequence
Every Grand Theft Auto game has used a direct button mapping between the two platforms. The inputs are identical — only the button names change:
A = X
B = Circle
X = Square
Y = Triangle
LB/RB = L1/R1
LT/RT = L2/R2
D-pad directions are the same on both. This is also why a controller plugged into a PC has historically accepted the Xbox sequences.
Will cheats disable achievements on Xbox?
Unconfirmed for GTA 6. In GTA V, achievement progress was disabled while a cheat was active for that session. Achievements weren't permanently lost — reloading a clean save restored normal progress — but nothing done with cheats on counted toward them.
